The department of English of Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Arts and Science was started in the year 2011 to provide the teaching of General English and Alternative English as per the course prescribed by AHSEC.Throughout our programmes, the  overall committed  mission of the department is to promote literacy specially the ability to read, write, speaking and think critically.The Department is dedicated to fostering students by providing a solid academic foundation and maximizine intellectual potential in any academically challenging environment.
